Matthew Glithero is a Musculoskeletal specialist: A Pilates Instructor, Osteopath and Cranial Osteopath.

Osteopathy (MOst – Master of Osteopathy)
He is a dynamic Osteopath in London who delivers bespoke treatments aimed to reducing pain. Helping you feel better and empowering you to pro-actively manage your own symptoms.

His Osteopathic approach focuses on identifying the patient’s functional and training issues which could have contributed to injury. Matthew questions your barriers to recovery and how healing times could be improved. He uses a range of hands-on techniques including muscular stretching, joint articulation and manipulation (only when appropriate and always with consent).

Growing up he was always active playing lots of different team sports so has always been around sporting injuries. Matthew experienced lower back pain after playing football as a teenager at which point he saw an Osteopath. For him, he found the Osteopathic treatment to be very effective and loved the narrative behind the treatment. The hands on treatment as an alternative to take pain medication was effective and gave him a thirst to learn more! However, it wasn’t until his late twenties when he decided to change career paths and retrain as an Osteopath.

Rehabilitation Pilates
As a Pilates Instructor he believes this aligns well with the osteopathic narrative to increase postural awareness. Involving exercise rehab with meaningful movements is all important to stay well. The rehabilitation Pilates sessions work well for patients recovering from injuries and surgery to strengthen muscles and increase flexibility. Sessions can pro-actively prevent injuries by increasing body awareness. He gained his advanced Pilates Matwork and Pilates Equipment Instructor training from the Australian, Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.

Since when I met Eleonora and started following her nutritional plans, my life has literally changed! She managed to solve my PCOS-related health issues and taught me life-changing eating habits. I am now fully aware of my body, and I rely on her to understand how food can be the solution to my health issues (including intolerances and allergies). Thanks to her, my acne issue became manageable, and my irregular periods went back to normal. Last year, I even thought I had fertility problems, but thanks to the supplements and bespoke nutritional plans Eleonora suggested, I now have a beautiful baby! I must say that her cranial osteopathy treatments helped me as well, as they contributed to reset my body and find a new balance. My partner Janie and I have been seeing Eleonora and Matt for several years with truly wonderful results. Matt and Eleonora really listen, they care and they explain everything, which builds wonderful trust as we have presented them with chronic back and shoulder injuries. Their patient, committed and very thorough approach has kept us both in great health. So much so, that we signed up for Reformer Pilates 2:1 sessions with Matt as we wanted to get fitter and stronger. And what a game-changer that turned out to be! We have wonderful fun each week in the sessions while we strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and really improve our balance and co-ordination.

Cannot recommend Wellthy Clinic enough.I started seeing Eleonora due to chronic back pain. With her holistic approach she has been of great help from treating me with osteopathy & cranial osteopathy, suggesting further tests that were overlooked by my rheumatologist, prescribing supplements to help regain balance, to 1to1 Pilates lessons to strengthen my muscles and teach me how to move better and avoid pain. I now feel so much better!

I can't recommend Eleonora and the Wellthy Clinic highly enough. I have had debilitating back pain for over 10 years that could not be resolved despite seeing multiple physios, sports doctor consultants and an MRI scan. Eleonora was the first person to link my back pain to inflammation and my gut and prescribed me supplements to deal with those issues in addition to in-person sessions. Now I am 90% pain free.The Clinic is modern, clean and fresh and conveniently located.I have also had online pilates with both Matt and Eleonora and their classes are fun but challenging and have really improved my core strength.

I met Eleonora to have advice about nutrition and I am absolutely happy about the whole experience. Her approach is warm and professional and her broad knowledge about nutrition and osteopathy felt like a perfect combination, able to see links between the varied discomforts I was facing. I highly recommend Eleonora and the Wellthy Clinic! She is not only an excellent osteopath, but also a kind person with a positive attitude. It is clear she loves her job and she really cares about her patients. I contacted Eleonora for a severe back pain and she managed to treat it within few sessions. During these sessions I told her how much I was suffering from stomach issues and she opened up my mind about nutrition and supplements. Her nutrition consultation has been essential for me, I have learnt how to eat properly and how important supplements are. I am finally pain free! I joined her pilates classes as well, best decision ever! Classes are fun and I have noticed improvement in my posture after few classes.
